Moldovan National Platform: Advocating for a European Future and Strengthening EaP Collaboration

Funded under the Re-granting (FSTP) program of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum National Platforms (2021-2024), this project focused on strengthening the role of the Moldovan National Platform (MNP) as a leading umbrella organization for 127 Moldovan civil society organizations (CSOs). The initiative aimed to align civil society efforts with Moldova’s EU accession process.

Project Objectives

The overall goal of the project was to establish the Moldovan National Platform as a central coordinating entity for Moldovan civil society. This involved enhancing its outreach and public profile by:

  • Actively engaging in outreach initiatives to ensure its activities are visible and accessible.
  • Promoting its mission through online and offline channels to foster dialogue with key stakeholders.

Project Outcomes:

  • A strengthened and more influential National Platform, actively promoting European values and advancing Moldova’s EU integration process. Additionally, platform members are actively involved in the working groups established by the government to engage CSOs in the EU accession negotiation process.
  • Improved institutional and advocacy capacities of the MNP and its member organizations.
  • Enhanced public presence and outreach among donor communities, key government ministries, and society at large.
