Since FAM became the implementing partner in 2024, the “Women Digital Center” project has significantly improved digital skills and career readiness for over 270 women in the municipalities of Chișinău and Bălți, enhancing their employment prospects and contributing to increased economic inclusion and gender equity in the digital sector.
The 30-hour course covered three key modules:
- Career Orientation: Assessing personal skills; How to read a job description and understand the requirements; Short- and long-term labor market trends; Salaries and benefits; Employment platforms; Labor legislation; How organizations are structured: corporations, NGOs, private vs. public sector.
- Digital Literacy: Working online; Microsoft Office; Online safety.
- Soft Skills Development for Employment and Performance: Writing a CV; Participating in a job interview; Financial education; Learning platforms accessible via mobile phone
In 2025, the initiative will expand to regional areas – the 30-hour course, under the name StartDigital, will be held in Bălți, Criuleni, Taraclia, and Fălești, targeting 520 women and men aged 16 to 50. The expansion will provide greater access to digital education, job opportunities, and economic inclusion.
