Enroll in the Free Women Digital Center Course: Digital Education and Career Guidance for Women
June 04, 2024 – The Orange Digital Center learning hub brings the digital world closer to women through the Women Digital Center training program, 2024 edition.
Women Digital Center is a program of digital education and career guidance for women who want to acquire digital skills and learn how to adapt to the current demands of the labor market.
The program will run from June 24 to December 30, 2024.
The full course includes 3 modules (30 study hours), with a pre-established schedule for the educational activities, and comprises:
- Module 1: Career Guidance, 6 hours
- Module 2: Digital Literacy, 16 hours
- Module 3: Development of Soft Skills for Employment and Performance, 8 hours
The training sessions will be held in person at two important centers for implementing digital education and future learning programs:
- Chișinău – at the Orange Digital Center located within the “Ion Creangă” State Pedagogical University, Ion Creangă Street, 1, central block, 2nd floor (in groups of approximately 20 participants).
- Bălți – The Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer (CITT) NORTEK, Bălți municipality, Pușkin Street, 38 (in groups of approximately 10-15 participants).
Each group will receive 30 hours of free training in Romanian, distributed in 4-hour sessions per day (Monday–Thursday), for two weeks.
Who Can Enroll
The program is dedicated to women aged 18 to 50 who are ready to attend the course in Chișinău or Bălți for a period of 2 weeks.
Benefits
At the end of the training period, participants will receive a Women Digital Center Certificate of Participation. Furthermore, beneficiaries have the opportunity to apply for the Small Grants competition announced within the program. The financial grants are offered by the Orange Moldova Foundation to cover qualification/reprofiling courses or professional development.
Participant registration will be done by completing the provided application form.
About the Program
The Women Digital Center training program was launched in 2019, with the full financial support of the Orange Moldova Foundation. In total, 2907 women have benefited from free courses within five consecutive editions of the program. The Women Digital Center, 2024 edition, is carried out in partnership with the Foundation for Advancement of Moldova, under the umbrella of the Orange Digital Center.
