The “EDU Interactiv” project
The “EDU Interactiv” project is an education modernization initiative in the Republic of Moldova that makes lessons more engaging and easier for students to understand by using modern educational technologies. Following a pilot phase, the project is being expanded to 195 educational institutions across the country and enables teachers to integrate 3D simulations, educational games, and animated digital content into the teaching process through the MozaWeb platform.
The initiative is implemented under the program “Digital Innovations of the Education System in the Republic of Moldova,” led by the Ministry of Education and Research in partnership with UNICEF, with financial support from the Global Partnership for Education.
As part of the project, the 195 institutions are being equipped with interactive panels, and 825 MozaWeb digital licenses—valid for three years—have been provided for the use of the platform. These resources allow lessons to be delivered in a modern format based on visualization, experimentation, and interaction, which helps increase children’s engagement and improve their understanding of the subjects taught.
In addition to the technological component, the project also includes teacher training. In October and December 2025, teachers from the 195 schools will take part in training sessions on how to use the MozaWeb platform. The trainings will be delivered by the Foundation for Development of the Republic of Moldova and the National Center for Digital Innovations in Education – Class of the Future, to ensure the effective integration of digital tools into the teaching process.
The “EDU Interactiv” project is part of broader efforts to modernize education in the Republic of Moldova by leveraging digital technologies and preparing schools for the needs of today’s generation of students. By expanding the MozaWeb platform and equipping institutions with interactive equipment, the initiative helps transform lessons into more dynamic educational experiences, adapted to children’s learning pace and style.
