Two Years Since the Opening of the “Future Classroom” Center and the Digital Ambassador Teacher Awards Gala
May 05, 2021 – The “Future Classroom” National Center for Digital Innovations in Education marked two years since its opening, an event celebrated alongside the Center’s partners and beneficiaries.
Over the past two years, more than 1,300 teachers have been trained at the Future Classroom Center on using digital equipment during lessons to make them more interesting and engaging. And in the last year, we managed to run the most extensive Digital Literacy and Skills Development Program for teaching staff, which included over 20,000 teachers.
Thanks to the strategic partnership with the giant Google, we managed to connect over 21,000 teachers to the Google for Education suite of tools.
Digital technologies and innovations are the heart of the Future Classroom project. And the Center is the place where teachers and future teachers learn differently and experiment with innovative teaching-learning scenarios using the 37 technologies.
The event also hosted the Digital Ambassador Teacher Awards Gala, where prizes were presented to the 25 winning teachers of the competition organized by the Future Classroom Center.
We remind you that the “Digital Ambassador Teacher” Competition is part of the project of the same name, implemented by the “Future Classroom” National Center for Digital Innovations in Education through the Development Foundation of Moldova, with the financial support of the Good Governance Department of Soros Foundation Moldova and USAID, Sweden, UK, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
