Strengthening the role of NCDIE Class of the Future as promoter and implementer

The “Strengthening the role of NCDIE Class of the Future as promoter and implementer” project will achieve its objectives by expanding the school network in the robotics programme, providing courses and training for teachers in the use of new technologies and facilitating access to open educational resources. The project will also focus on improving school connectivity and infrastructure through initiatives such as the Gigabit Initiative and promoting digital literacy through programmes such as Google for Education and SELFIE Tool. Participants and beneficiaries will be selected according to pre-established criteria such as membership of the FCL network, active involvement in educational processes and the specific needs of each target group.

The aim of the project is to improve the effectiveness of the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into the general education system in Moldova.

The target group of the project is 205 educational institutions, including members of the FCL network (about 50 managers and 500 teachers in total). We estimate that about 6000 students, boys and girls, will benefit directly from the project activities. The final beneficiaries include the whole of society, including women and men from vulnerable groups, people with disabilities, women victims of violence and ethno-linguistic minorities.

The project will run for 18 months from 10 October 2022 to 10 March 2024.

The project is implemented by the Foundation for Advancement of Moldova in partnership with the NGO for Creative STEM Education “CRESTEM”.
